Water Treatment Specialist

Manage the processing of treated water in strict compliance with PepsiCo's quality and food safety standards. The specialist will ensure a safe working environment across all water treatment areas while meticulously maintaining all necessary quality control records.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure all water processing operations meet PepsiCo's food safety and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor operations to guarantee strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FSSC ISO 22000 standards.
• Track critical control points (CCPs) and implement control measures to eliminate any food safety risks in the finished products.
• Execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to GMP within the water processing areas.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive evidence of quality, cleaning, and sanitizing procedures for easy retrieval.
• Generate and oversee daily water reports, monitoring process quality, food defense, and workplace safety.
• Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control forms fully updated.
• Secure all company records and documents in a locked area to maintain strict confidentiality.

Safety & Environmental Control

• Enforce safe workplace conditions during all sanitation activities, particularly when handling steam, hot water, and corrosive chemicals, and immediately report any incidents to management.
• Ensure the safe handling and application of all processing and sanitizing chemicals.
• Oversee wastewater treatment operations to ensure compliance with local regulations and maintain necessary quality reports.
• Maintain a safe environment within the wastewater treatment plant by preventing hazards such as harmful fumes or operational errors.

Leadership & Operations Management

• Develop and continuously improve water processes through a dedicated and well-trained team.
• Coach and build the capabilities of WTU technicians to meet the company's safety and quality goals.
• Ensure the consistent availability of spare parts, materials, consumables, and safety equipment to prevent operational disruptions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across all treated water facilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Water Engineering, Chemistry, or a Food Industry-related field
