Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist

Control the AP and payroll cycles, and payments incurred by the Company in accordance with the local laws and regulations and the company’s policies and procedures.

• Ensure full Compliance with the P2P policy.

• Monthly closing of accruals and proper recording of expenses (MOH, S&D and G&A..etc).

• Review contracts from procurement, marketing and other functions with a summary on each contract for the amount, payment terms, SOA levels of authorities, etc.

• Reconcile the A&M tracking sheets in term of recording the actual & commitment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Conduct test of internal controls to sustain a well-controlled environment.

• Reconcile GRNI report on monthly basis and follow up on the outstanding.

• Following up for discrepancies with vendors in coordination with the Accounts payable manager or ordering department and provide management with business related issues.

• Prepare reconciliations for accounts payable with general ledger, accruals related accounts and prepaid expenses, related refundable deposits, and provide monthly analyses for all types of expenses.

• Complete the balance sheet reviews for related parts.

• SAP experience and solid knowledge in local laws and regulations.

• Solid Knowledge in IFRS and the accounting treatments.

• Prompt and accurate.

• Analytical skills.

• MS Excel skills.

• Proficient in English and Arabic communication, both written and verbal.

• Excellent numerical reasoning abilities.
