Job Description
Oversee the company's vehicle fleet to ensure it meets all sales and operational demands. The Fleet Specialist is responsible for keeping all fleet equipment in a safe, fully operational, and user-ready state. Additionally, this position manages the sanitation and overall housekeeping of the on-site fleet workshop.
- Develop and manage the department's budget, covering labor, spare parts, consumables, and major fleet overhauls.
- Establish performance benchmarks for garage workshops and ensure organizational alignment.
- Oversee daily operations of external service providers and evaluate their overall performance.
- Implement a comprehensive fleet maintenance strategy to guarantee operational safety and reliability.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations to guarantee full compliance with the company's vehicle fleet.
- Liaise with relevant departments to coordinate and track all vehicle service schedules.
- Monitor key fleet performance metrics, including expenses, repair history, preventive maintenance (PM) quality, and unexpected breakdowns.
- Mentor team members by providing continuous feedback to foster professional growth and enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with the fleet team to troubleshoot and resolve recurring operational issues.
- Keep an accurate, real-time inventory of all company-owned and leased vehicles.
- Uphold rigorous safety standards within the garage workshops by immediately identifying and rectifying any hazardous conditions.
- Act as the primary internal expert on fleet procurement, advising on vehicle specifications, dealership relations, and lease-versus-purchase cost analyses.
- Manage and allocate fleet technical resources effectively across Amman.
- Supervise the forklift repair processes managed by external service providers to maximize equipment availability.
- Manage the registration, licensing, and legal compliance processes for all vehicles in the fleet.

- Proficiency in executing control measures and monitoring critical control points to mitigate and eliminate potential operational risks.
